Rizzoli and Isles Summer Finale = RAGE!

Ok, you know what? Sasha and Angie deserved better. I know third graders who could’ve put together a better episode than that. That shit had “You sank my Rizzles ship!” written all over it. What sends me into a berserker rage is JTam making Maura into a schizophrenic-acting need freak. One minute she’s talking about letting out her inner bitch, not two seconds later, she’s fawning over him like a brainsick idiot. What. The. FRAK?!

Sadly, the Rizzles moments simply couldn’t save this episode for me. Those, too, seemed all over the map. I can sometimes blindly follow a ship, but I simply can’t go down with this one. If this season doesn’t improve, I may have to ditch it for a better written police dramedy whose writers actually respect the talent of their cast. This ep was so beneath Angie’s and Sasha’s talent that it pains me to see them wasted like this. You know what? Sure, I agree that it takes courage to put one’s work out there to be judged. But to simply phone it in because you think your audience is not smart enough to “get it” is sad and they shouldn’t be pissed or hurt when they get busted dumbing the show down.

*stalks off to take Ambien because she can’t sleep when this brassed off*
